| har har, im stuck on weather to get the proper one with the stand thing, with all the wires that i can (but wont) use with dvd players and all that, which requires a plug socket (which i also dont have) or to get the USB one. DO YOU RECON theres ANY loss of quality IN ANY WAY with it going through the usb? I had two of these before and both of them were the real deal, power socket, 6 or 8 cables to the dock thingy.. Damn these are easy to break... Theres only about a fiver difference between them.

| Well the only thing I would say is that there's one more integral component to go wrong. The usb one has a sound card built into it. If my sound card were to go then I just spend a tenner and I'm done. What the hell did u do to wreck the other type? Mine is parked on my desk, the cables are safely behind and its done. I would go for the flexibility, but whatever works for u mate. Do you have a touch of Richard disease? The only man who can wreck a mobo by standing on it Ps I have a 60 quid sound card with 3 modes and a shitload of extra options atm. | |

| Go with the one without USB cause if the built in sound card goes, yer fucked, it's not like it's an option you can change on your pc to switch which sound card you're using if the built in one fucks up :/ | |
